Praxis Pro is a continuation of the original PRAXIS project. While PRAXIS offered a flexible scaffolding solution—allowing developers to choose between frontend, backend, or fullstack stacks—Praxis Pro doubles down on backend architecture, leveraging the full power of Django to deliver an advanced, production-grade foundation.
Unlike Express, Django offers a comprehensive backend toolkit right out of the box: a robust ORM, a powerful admin panel, built-in authentication, advanced security middleware, and more. Praxis Pro takes advantage of these capabilities to provide a superior developer experience for complex applications.
What Sets Praxis Pro Apart
Praxis Pro is more of a boilerplate generator and automation assistant. It streamlines backend development by automating tedious and repetitive tasks, accelerating setup, and embedding industry best practices into every line of code.
Features Beyond the Original PRAXIS
Django + DRF Framework - Built-in ORM, admin interface, enhanced security, and middleware for rapid development.
Automated Setup Scripts - Automates time-consuming setups like ELK stack and Kubernetes, so you can focus on building.
Centralized Logging (ELK) - Integrated Filebeat + Kibana for real-time log visualization & Model-level indexing via Elasticsearch enables fast, efficient querying.
Kubernetes Ready - All essential YAML files for orchestrating microservices using kubectl and minikube.
Sentry Integration - Real-time error tracking with centralized reporting.
Auto-generated API Documentation - Out-of-the-box Redoc and Swagger support for clear, interactive API docs.
Production Readiness - Comes pre-configured with Gunicorn and Nginx for a production-grade deployment pipeline.
Built by a Developer, for Developers
Praxis Pro is a reflection of everything I’ve learned about building high-quality, scalable backend systems in Python. It’s not just a tool—it’s a statement of engineering philosophy and an invitation to build faster, better, and smarter.
Whether you're building your next SaaS product or want a serious backend foundation for experimentation, Praxis Pro has you covered.
PS- Its still under refining process
